The world's first Museum of Modern Pentathlon has opened on the territory of the new sports complex. This Olympic discipline includes swimming, fencing, horse riding, running and shooting. The museum contains more than 200 exhibits, including things of our Olympic champions, world and European champions, as well as personal gifts to the museum from the first vice-president of the International Union of Modern Pentathlon, Mr. Samaranch (junior) and Honorary President of the International Union of Modern Pentathlon, Prince Albert of Monaco II.

The history of these victories, stories about the sports will of our pentathletes champions, can be heard during an excursion adapted for all ages.

The museum is equipped with interactive screens where you can independently familiarize yourself with unique film, video and photographic materials dedicated to the pentathlon. And wearing virtual reality glasses, everyone can feel like "knights of five qualities" and, with the help of joysticks, conduct training in shooting and fencing. On the excursion we are waiting for everyone who wants to connect their life with the pentathlon or is interested in its history.

Over its 70-year history, the national pentathlon has accumulated a great experience of victories in world tournaments: 22 Olympic medals, 143 world championship medals and 84 European championship awards. You may also checkout the article Paleontological Museum in Moscow.
