Experimentanium is a fascinating museum of entertaining sciences, open especially for children. It was created in order to awaken interest among young visitors in science, innovation and the phenomena of the surrounding world.

In total, the museum has collected more than 300 exhibits that illustrate how the world works and how everything is interconnected in it. Everything can be touched with your hands, twisted, pressed, started mechanisms in order to clearly see how the laws of optics, mechanics, acoustics and electromagnetism work.

What To See

The exposition occupies three floors of the museum and is divided into 8 thematic blocks: mechanics, optics, acoustics, electricity, magnetism, hydrodynamics, space and automobile construction. All exhibits are mechanisms and devices that are set in motion by a lever or magnet. Here you can see and observe in action mechanisms that simulate the appearance of clouds and a hurricane, Tesla's plasma ball, models of Renaissance mechanisms, as well as a favorite attraction among young guests - a water installation, created with the support of the energy holding RusHydro. It clearly demonstrates where the sea waves come from, how a whirlpool is made, and how a water mill works.

There are lectures and a real laboratory at the museum, where everyone can conduct scientific experiments and experiments under the guidance of a guide. The lecture halls regularly hold scientific SH.O.U ("Step. Open. Surprise"), lectures, master classes, as well as open lessons, educational programs and interactive classes. There are also special holiday scientific and entertainment programs with puzzles and games for young birthday people.

As part of the Accessible Science project, Experimentanium conducts excursions and science shows for children with disabilities, orphans and children from disadvantaged families.
