The Sochi Autodrom racing complex, unique for Russia, is located right by the Black Sea, surrounded by the stadiums of the Olympic Park. The track was built quite in 2014. This means that during its design all the current trends in the world of auto racing were taken into account, the stands are located only at the most spectacular sections of the track with a length of 5854 m. class of cars "Formula-1". But this does not mean that the racing stadium is idle the rest of the time. There is a huge amount of entertainment for the whole family.

Things to do

It is better to start your acquaintance with the "royal races" with a tour of the autodrome. Professional guides will tell you about the history of Formula 1 in Russia and show you the key facilities of the complex: the main grandstand, paddock (accommodation for drivers and team personnel), race control room. The tour ends with a walk in the pit lane and ascent to the podium. Tours of the stadium take place every day at 12:00, 14:00 and 16:00. Guided tour for adults: RUB 500.

Of course, everyone who visits the Sochi autodrome wants to feel what it is like to be on the track in a car and at least partially try on the image of a pilot. A racing taxi is a great opportunity to tickle your nerves with speed and test your driving skills. Track days are regularly held at the circuit, during which it is allowed to drive along the track in your own car.

The best way to recover after crazy races is in the sports museum, opened in the Main Stand. The exposition includes about 50 sports and racing cars, including: Formula 1 car Jaguar R5B 2004, Dodge Viper for drag racing with a capacity of 1500 hp. pp., "Ferrari-F40", the legendary "DeLorean" from the trilogy "Back to the Future", Bond car "Aston-Martin-DB9". In addition to cars, the museum displays the costumes of racers, photographs, paintings and much more. Admission for adults: RUB 500. Opening hours: 10: 00-19: 00.

How to get there: by suburban train to the station "Imeretinskiy Kurort" or by buses No. 55, 50, 125C, 135, 135E to the stop "Olympic Park". The main landmark when driving by car is the Imeretinskiy Kurort station; there is a parking nearby.
