Dzhur-dzhur Waterfall, Alushta

Dzhur-Dzhur is the most powerful and full-flowing waterfall in Crimea. The "eternally murmuring" (this is how its name is translated) natural monument leaves the most vivid impressions for tourists who have been here. The Jur-Jur waterfall is worth leaving the beach and sun loungers for a day and going on a short trip.

The Jur-Jur waterfall falls from a height of 15 m and is 5 meters wide. They say that noisy streams of water do not subside even in the driest summer. Gazebo of Winds, Gurzuf

You can get to the picturesque Jur-Jur waterfall on your own or using a ready-made excursion. The latter will cost about 1300 RUB per person, excluding entrance tickets.

If you go on your own, you will first need to take a minibus Alushta - Generalskoe. Buses leave from Sovetskaya Square. The road from the city to the village will take 30-40 minutes. Upon arrival at the bus station, you can take a car that will take you directly to the Khapkhal reserve, on the territory of which there is a waterfall. But if the costs are not included in the plans (and this is no less than 1000 RUB) and you are ready to walk  along the forest paths for about an hour and at the same time enjoy the Crimean nature, then go ahead! You can find out which path you need to go down to the Dzhur-Dzhur waterfall at the bus station or from local residents.

To enter the reserve, however, you still have to pay 100 RUB.

Next, you will need to walk along the wooden bridge and climb to the observation deck. Everything, we are in place. The Jur-Jur waterfall falls from a height of 15 m and 5 meters wide. They say that noisy streams of water do not subside even in the driest summer.

But swimming in the waterfall is not worth it! Together with the water, stones fall from a height, and its volume is serious - 250-270 litres per second. So it is better to take care of yourself and walk to the Jur-Jur cave, which is located about 500 m from the waterfall of the same name. Must See Sites in Yekaterinburg City
